STS-51 Space Shuttle Reentry

This view shows a pass of the Space Shuttle over south Texas at the end of the STS-51 mission. At the highest point in the pass, the shuttle was only 15 degrees above the horizon. Despite the incredible light pollution, gaps in the trail similar to those seen during STS-82 are visible.
